Our Youth Ministry is made up of middle and high school students who meet weekly to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, build community, and have fun. We meet on Wednesday nights at the Connection Ministry Center from 6:30-7:30pm and Sunday nights from 6:30-8:00pm.

On Wednesdays, we gather on the first floor at the Connection Ministry Center during the Discipleship Hour for small groups.based on age and gender and led by adult volunteers in our church.

On Sunday nights we fellowship together over a meal, provided by individuals or groups within our church, followed by worship, led by our own Youth Worship Team, games, and a message.

We also offer monthly events, and seasonal retreats. Come hang out with us, and invite your friends!

sunday mornings

Youth are welcome to attend their grade-appropriate Middle School or High School Class, both of which begin at 10:00am in The Connection Ministry Center. The Middle School class is led by Jen Kafsky, and they meet on the first floor in room C-13. The High School class is led by Sally Shelton, and they meet on the second floor in room C-26.

A note from our Interim director of youth ministries

Hey there!  I am Rach and I am a junior studying nursing at Truett McConnell University.  I have had the privilege to have been with the youth group now for almost 2 years. I got plugged in through the previous youth pastor, Brian Butcher, and his wife, Josey.  They were involved in the youth group I attended in high school and moved here shortly after I graduated.  When I chose to attend Truett McConnell University, they asked if I would be interested in helping with the youth.  I started in the summer of 2015 and have been involved ever since.  Being given this opportunity to lead these kids has been such a blessing, and I have learned so much from them.  It is my joy and such a privilege to work with the youth; and it is my passion to see these kids grow and mature in their faith in Jesus Christ.

If you have any questions at all about the youth group do not hesitate to reach out to me!
