WHAT to expect

Our Services
CFUMC has 2 traditional worship services each Sunday: 8:30 and 11:00am. These services focus on liturgy, hymns, and observing the traditions of the church. Our Chancel Choir usually participates in the 11:00 service with Joybells (our Hand Bell Choir), Eve'N Us (our Women's Ensemble), or Men of Song (our Men's Ensemble) participating occasionally.

The contemporary worship service meets at 9:00am. This service is more informal in style of worship, including a praise band.

Whichever style of worship you prefer, Pastor Keith's motto is "whoever preaches at one service, preaches at all three!" You will hear the same message at whichever service you choose to attend.

Attire
We invite everyone to be comfortable and come as you are to CFUMC, but the attire in our Classic Worship Services is usually slightly dressier, ranging from business casual to Sunday finest. In our Celebration Worship Service you will find some people who dress up while others prefer to wear their favorite jeans.

Parking
Please don't let the construction keep you from coming to worship and activities! We still have plenty of parking options depending on the service you are planning to attend. Our traditional services meet in our Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is centrally located with parking available in the grass lot beside the steel ramp, the grass lot opposite the Fellowship Hall, or a large parking lot at the back of the campus in front of the ballfield. If you are planning to attend the contemporary service, the Connection Ministry Center has a large parking lot. Finally, some of our members choose to park at the Admin Building (Office).

Childcare

Childcare is provided for children birth-age 2 during all morning worship services in our Children's Wing, located on the second floor at the back of our campus above the Fellowship Hall. Our Nursery Staff, Teresa Colvin and Marie Rogers, are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for your children. For families attending the contemporary worship service, there is a nursery space, room C-18, in the Connection Ministry Center with a changing station. This space is an unsupervised alternative for parents wishing to keep their children with them during contemporary worship.
